The fashion scene has evolved greatly in recent years, with the much-needed inclusion of black and brown designers, models, editorials, and magazines featuring people of color on their covers.

In 2017, we were approached by the legendary Swedish clothing brand Tiger Of Sweden. They asked us to create music for their upcoming London Fashion Week runway show. The runway was set against a triumphant neon archway reminiscent of Sweden's royal palace, Kungliga Slottet. Models would emerge wearing half-breasted suits, bombers, and windbreakers. The theme aimed to blend the old Stockholm vibe with the new. However, there were no clear signs of the "new" Stockholm. All the models were white, and the show lacked a theme that could connect it to the cultural diversity of today's society.

After creating new mood boards and meeting with the design team, we worked to translate the runway into our vision. We conducted new castings, bringing in models with backgrounds as third-culture kids, and we redesigned some of the clothing items with our signature wristbands and headbands sewn into them. The message became powerful. It conveyed the sense of hybridity that the collection sought to emphasize through the merging of cutting-edge and classic elements, streetwear and suiting, and patterns and solidity. It was now clear to see the evolution on the runway.

The show got raving reviews by Wonderland, BoF, GQ and with the later writing:

“Fashion not only channels pop culture, it also channels pop politics. Tiger of Sweden infuses fashion with politics.”
